Wie könnte ein „einfacher“ Tanz aussehen, der sich spontan, aufrichtig und ganz ungeniert präsentiert? Muss ein Stück mit einem solch utopischen Ansatz nicht zwangsläufig lächerlich aussehen? Ayelen Parolin, die weder das Lächerliche noch das Absurde scheut, stellt sich dieser Herausforderung und den damit verbundenen Widersprüchen. In einer Gesellschaft, in der sich alle als Expert:innen aufspielen und sich hinter prätentiösem und berechnendem Gehabe verstecken, besinnt sie sich auf Formen der Naivität zurück und gibt sich dem Komischen und Idiotischen hin.

What could a “simple” dance look like that is spontaneous, sincere and completely uninhibited? Doesn't a piece with such a utopian approach inevitably have to look ridiculous? Ayelen Parolin, who shies away from neither the ridiculous nor the absurd, faces this challenge and the inherent contradictions. In a society in which everyone acts like an expert and hides behind pretentious and calculated behavior, she returns to forms of naivety, embracing the comical and the idiotic.
